And Bath-sheba went to the king into the chamber: and the king was very old; and Abishag the Shunamite ministered to the king.

Now also when I am old and gray-headed, O God, forsake me not; until I have shown thy strength to this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come. Thy righteousness also, O God, is very high, who hast done great things: O God, who is like to thee!

And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoary hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.

Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honor the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I am the LORD.

The hoary head is a crown of glory, if it is found in the way of righteousness.

With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding.
