And two days after was the passover, and the feast of unleavened bread; and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might seize him by craft, and put him to death.

And seeing that it pleased the Jews, he proceeded to apprehend Peter also; (then were the days of unleavened bread;)

Your glorying is not good. Know ye not, that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? Cleanse out the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened; for our passover also hath been sacrificed, even Christ. So then let us keep the feast, not with the old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
