And turning to the woman, he said to Simon, Do you see this woman? I came into your house; you gave me no water for my feet; but she has wet my feet with tears, and wiped them with her hairs.

he knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he came from God and was going to God, arose from supper, and laid aside his clothes, and taking a towel girded himself: Then he put water into the wash-basin, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel with which he was girded.
