12 Bible Verses about Footstools

And ye look upon him that weareth the fine apparel, and say to him, Sit thou here in a good place, and say to the poor man,

Nor by the earth, for it is his footstool; neither by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King.

What house will ye build me, saith the Lord: or What is the place of my rest?

But to which of the angels did he ever say, Sit at my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?

For David himself said by the Holy Ghost, The Lord saith to my Lord, Sit thou on my righthand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool.

Sit thou on my right hand, Till I make thine enemies thy footstool.

For David is not ascended into the heavens; but he saith himself, The Lord said to my Lord, Sit thou on my right-hand, Until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

And he hath put all things under his feet, and hath given him to be head over all things to the church,

for ever sat down at the right hand of God, From thenceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.

For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. Now in putting all things in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him: but now we do not yet see all things put under him.
