strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, in order to all patience and long-suffering with joyfulness, giving thanks to the Father, who has made us fit for a portion of the inheritance of the saints in light:

For this reason we faint not: but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day. by day. For our present light affliction works out for us an eternal fullness of glory, excelling all excellence, ls while we look not at the things that are seen, but at the things that are not seen: for the things seen are temporal; but the things not seen are eternal.

And by this we know that we are of the truth; and we shall have our hearts at rest before him: for if our heart condemn us, we know that God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.

For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor hight, nor depth, nor any other creature, will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. and he said to me: My grace is sufficient for you; for my power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly, therefore, will I boast in my infirmities, that the power of the Christ may abide upon me. For this reason, I take pleasure in infirmities, in outrages, in necessities, in persecutions, in straits, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong.
