{To the Chanter, a Psalm of David} How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? Forever? How long wilt thou hide thy face from me? How long shall I seek counsel in my soul, and be so vexed in my heart? How long shall mine enemies triumph over me?

strengthened with all might, through his glorious power, unto all patience, and long suffering, with joyfulness, giving thanks unto the father which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of saints in light.

Wherefore, we are not wearied: but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our exceeding tribulation, which is momentary and light, prepareth an exceeding and eternal weight of glory unto us,

for thereby we know that we be of the truth, and so shall we certify our hearts in his sight. But if our hearts condemn us, God is greater than our hearts, and knoweth all things.

And he said, "Come out and stand before the LORD." And behold, the LORD went by: and a mighty strong wind that rent the mountains and brake the rocks, before him. But the LORD was not in the wind. And after the wind came an earthquake. But the LORD was not in the earthquake. And after the earthquake, came fire. But the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire, came a small still voice.

The LORD ordereth a good man's going, and hath pleasure in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be hurt, for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.

For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again; but the ungodly fall into wickedness.

Yea and I am sure that neither death, neither life, neither angels; nor rule, neither power, neither things present, neither things to come, neither height, neither lowth, neither any other creature shall be able to depart us from the love of God, showed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

In that day shall it be said, "Lo, this is our God: we have waited for him, and he shall save us. This is the LORD in whom we have hoped: Let us rejoice, and delight in his salvation.

I will call unto the Most High God, even unto the God that shall perform the cause which I have in hand. He shall send from heaven, and save me from the reproof of him that would swallow me up. Selah. God shall send forth his mercy and truth.

and he said unto me, "My grace is sufficient for thee. For my strength is made perfect through weakness." Very gladly therefore will I rejoice of my weakness, that the strength of Christ may dwell in me. Therefore have I delectation in infirmities, in rebukes, in need, in persecutions, in anguish, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong.
