Genesis 6:6-7

Rehoboam established his kingdom and made himself strong. He and all Israel abandoned Jehovah's teachings. King Shishak of Egypt attacked Jerusalem. I will not use Shishak to pour out my anger on Jerusalem. However, they will become his servants. They must learn the difference between serving me and serving foreign kings.

Jeremiah 26:13

You must change the way you are living and the things you are doing. You must obey Jehovah your God. If you do, he will change his mind about the destruction that he said he would bring on you.

Jonah 3:6-10

Who knows whether God will turn back and change his mind, and turn away from his fierce anger that we will not perish? God saw their works! That they turned from their evil way. God turned back from the deed that he said he would do to them. He did not do it.

Hebrews 6:17-18

When God desired to show more convincingly to the heirs of the promise the unchangeable character of his purpose, he confirmed it with an oath. God did this to offer encouragement so we may rely on the hope offered to us. We have taken refuge in that hope and it is impossible for God to lie. These two things can never be changed.
