He remembered his promise to them. In keeping with his rich mercy, he changed his plans.
He provides food for those who reverence him. He always remembers his covenant.
Keep in mind that Jehovah your God is the only true God. He is the faithful God. He keeps his promise and is merciful to thousands of generations of those who love him and obey his commandments.
If you listen to these rules and faithfully obey them, Jehovah your God will keep his covenant with you and be merciful to you, as he swore to your fathers.
