8 Bible Verses about God Healing Sorrow

Joseph named the firstborn Manasseh, saying, "Certainly God has made me forget all my trouble and all my father's house."

He named the second child Ephraim, saying, "Certainly God has made me fruitful in the land of my suffering."

He heals the brokenhearted, and bandages their wounds.

The Lord is near the brokenhearted; he delivers those who are discouraged.

The blessing from the Lord makes a person rich, and he adds no sorrow to it.

I tell you the solemn truth, you will weep and wail, but the world will rejoice; you will be sad, but your sadness will turn into joy.

So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.
