5 Bible Verses about God Is Light

And this is the message that we have heard from Him and now announce to you: God is light, and there is no darkness at all in Him.

Then an angel of the Lord stood by them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, so that they were fearfully frightened.

While he was still speaking, a bright cloud cast its shadow over them, and a voice from the cloud said, "This is my Son, my Beloved, in whom I am delighted. Keep on listening to Him!"

His appearance was as bright as lightning and his clothes as white as snow.

After this I saw another angel coming down from heaven. He had great authority and the earth was lighted up with his splendor.
