And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward whom his lord shall set over his houseservants, to give them their portion of food in season?

Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters; as the eyes of a maiden to the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait on Jehovah our God, until He shall have mercy on us.

But as he had nothing to pay, his lord commanded that he, and his wife and children, and all that he had, be sold, and payment be made.

After a long time the lord of those servants came and took account with them.

And you yourselves be like men who wait for their lord, whenever he shall return from the wedding, so that when he comes and knocks, they may open to him immediately.

And the man, the master of the house, went out to them and said to them, No, my brothers, I pray you, do not do evil, since this man has come into my house. Do not do this foolish sin.

Therefore what will the lord of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy the vinedressers and will give the vineyard to others.

Therefore when the lord of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those vinedressers?

So they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. What then shall the lord of the vineyard do to them?

And as they were untying the colt, its owners said to them, Why are you untying the colt?

But I say, Over so long a time the heir is an infant, he does not differ from a slave, though being lord of all;

saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while He was living, After three days I will rise again.

And answering, he said to him, Lord, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and throw manure.

Then these came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him, saying, Sir, we want to see Jesus.

Feed the flock of God among you, taking the oversight, not by compulsion, but willingly; nor for base gain, but readily; nor as lording it over those allotted to you by God, but becoming examples to the flock.

Turn! Turn! Go out from there! Touch not the unclean. Go out of her midst; purify yourself, bearers of the vessels of Jehovah.

And I will bring you out from the people, and I will gather you out of the lands in which you are scattered among them, with a mighty hand and with a stretched out arm and with fury poured out.

My brothers, take the prophets who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering ill, and of patience.

The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the pride of men shall be bowed down, and Jehovah alone shall be exalted in that day. For the day of Jehovah of Hosts shall be on every proud and lofty one, and on every lifted up one; and he shall be brought low,

The great day of Jehovah is near; it is near and rushing greatly, the voice of the day of Jehovah. The mighty man shall cry bitterly there. That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of waste and ruin, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, a day of the ram's horn and alarm against the fortified cities, and against the high towers.read more.
And I will bring distress on men, so that they shall walk with the blind, because they have sinned against Jehovah. And their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as dung. Their silver nor their gold will not be able to deliver them in the day of Jehovah's wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of His jealousy. For He shall make even a full, yea, a speedy end of all the dwellers in the land.

Howl! For the day of Jehovah is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.

Blow a ram's horn in Zion, and sound an alarm in My holy mountain; let all the inhabitants of the land tremble. For the day of Jehovah comes, for it is near at hand; a day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread on the mountains; a great people and a strong people; there has not been ever the like, nor shall there ever be again, even to the years of many generations.

Woe to those desiring the day of Jehovah! What is this for you? The day of Jehovah is darkness and not light; as if a man fled from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house and leaned his hand on the wall, and a snake bit him. Shall not the day of Jehovah be darkness and not light? Even very dark, and no brightness in it?

to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

For you yourselves know accurately that the day of the Lord comes like a thief in the night.

that you should not be soon shaken in mind or troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word or letter, as through us, as if the Day of Christ is at hand.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a rushing noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat. And the earth and the works in it will be burned up.

He shall also confirm you to the end, that you may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

even as you have recognized us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as you also are ours in the day of the Lord Jesus.
