And it shall be in that day, the Lord shall again set His hand, the second time, to recover the remnant of His people that remains, from Assyria and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Ethiopia, and from Persia, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the coasts of the sea.

Sing to Jehovah a new song; His praise from the end of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and its fullness; coasts and their peoples.

Surely the coastlands shall wait for Me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring your sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, to the name of Jehovah your God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because He has glorified you.

For pass over the coasts of Kittim, and see; and send to Kedar, and carefully consider, and see if there is such a thing. Has a nation changed their gods who are yet no gods? But My people have changed their Glory for that which does not profit.

Hear the Word of Jehovah, O nations, and declare it in the coastlands afar off. And say, He who scattered Israel will gather him and keep him, as a shepherd keeps his flock.

So says the Lord Jehovah to Tyre: Shall not the coastlands shake at the sound of your fall, when the slain groan, when the slaughter is made in your midst? And all the rulers of the sea shall come down from their thrones, and lay away their robes, and put off their embroidered garments. They shall clothe themselves with trembling; they shall sit on the ground and tremble at every moment, and be amazed at you. And they shall take up a mourning for you, and say to you, How you who lived by the sea are destroyed, the famous city which was strong in the sea, she and her people who caused their terror to be on all who lived in it!read more.
And the coastlands shall tremble in the day of your fall; yea, the coastlands by the sea shall be troubled at your going.

And say to Tyre, O you who are placed at the entrance of the sea, a merchant of the peoples for many coastlands, so says the Lord Jehovah: O Tyre, you have said, I am of perfect beauty. Your borders are in the midst of the seas, your builders have perfected your beauty. They have made all your ship boards of fir trees of Senir; they have taken cedars from Lebanon to make masts for you.read more.
They have made the oaks of Bashan your oars; the daughter of Assyria has made your deck of ivory from the coasts of Kittim. Your sail was of fine linen with embroidered work from Egypt, an ensign for you; violet and purple from the coasts of Elishah was your covering.

And he shall turn his face to the coastlands, and shall capture many. But a ruler shall make cease his reproach for him, but his reproach will return to him.

Behold, the nations are like a drop in a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the scales; behold, He takes up the coastlands as a very little thing. And Lebanon is not enough to burn, nor the beasts of it enough for a burnt offering. All nations before Him are as nothing; and to Him they are thought to be less than nothing, and vanity.

And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those who escape from them to the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, drawers of the bow; to Tubal, and Javan, to the far away coasts that have not heard My fame, nor have seen My glory. And they will declare My glory among the nations.

Keep silence before Me, O coasts; and peoples shall renew strength; let them come near; then let them speak; let us come near together for judgment.

Listen, O coastlands, to Me; and listen, lend your ear, peoples from afar; Jehovah has called Me from the womb; He has made mention of My name from My mother's bowels.

According to their deeds, accordingly He will repay; fury to His foes, deed for deed to His enemies. He will repay their deeds to the coastlands.

So the Lord Jehovah says this: Behold, I will stretch out My hand on the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites, and will destroy the rest of the sea coast. And I will execute great vengeance on them with rebukes; and they shall know that I am Jehovah, when I shall lay My vengeance on them.

And I will send a fire on Magog, and on the secure inhabitants of the coasts. And they shall know that I am Jehovah.

And when He had opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake. And the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, even as a fig tree casts her untimely figs when she is shaken by a mighty wind. And the heaven departed like a scroll when it is rolled together. And every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air. And a great voice came out of the temple of Heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done! And voices and thunders and lightnings occurred. And there was a great earthquake, such as has not been since men were on the earth, so mighty and so great an earthquake. And the great city came to be into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And every island fled away, and mountains were not found.

Sing to Jehovah a new song; His praise from the end of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and its fullness; coasts and their peoples. Let the wilderness and its cities lift up their voice, the villages where Kedar dwells. Let the dwellers of the rock sing, let them shout from the mountain tops. Give glory to Jehovah and declare His praise in the coastlands.

Therefore glorify Jehovah in the flames, the name of the Lord Jehovah of Israel in the coasts of the sea.

He shall not fail nor be discouraged until He has set judgment in the earth; and the coasts shall wait for His Law.

Listen to Me, My people; and give ear to Me, O My nation; for a law shall go out from Me, and I will make My judgment to rest for a light of peoples. My righteousness is near; My salvation has gone out, and My arms shall judge peoples; the coastlands shall wait on Me, and on My arm they shall trust.

And it happened when it was time to sail, we having been torn away from them, running direct we came to Cos; and on the next day to Rhodes, and from there to Patara.

And sailing slowly many days and with difficulty, coming abreast of Cnidus; the wind not allowing us; we sailed close to Crete, across from Salmone. And neither sun nor stars appearing in many days, and no small tempest pressing hard, now all hope that we would be saved was taken away. But there being much fasting, then standing up in their midst, Paul said, O men, being obedient to me you ought not to have set sail from Crete, and to have come by this harm and loss. And now I exhort you to be of good cheer, for there will be no casting away of life among you, only of the ship. For tonight an angel of God stood beside me, whose I am and whom I serve, saying, Fear not, Paul! You must stand before Caesar. And behold! God has given you all those who sail with you. Therefore, men, be of good cheer, for I believe God, that it will be so, according to the way it was told me. But we must fall on a certain island.

For this cause I left you in Crete, that you should set in order the things that are lacking and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed you,

Then having set sail from Troas, we came with a straight course to Samothracia, and the next day to Neapolis;

And landing at Syracuse, we stayed three days.
