And the dragon was angry with the woman, and went to make war with the rest of her children who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus.

And I heard the number of the sealed, a hundred and forty-four thousand were sealed from every tribe of the children of Israel. After this I saw, and behold, a great multitude, which no man could number, of every nation and of all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and having palm branches in their hands; and they cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation be to our God who sits on the throne and to the Lamb. And all the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four cherubs, and fell down before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, saying, Amen, blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and strength be to our God forever and ever. And one of the elders answered and said to me, Who are those clothed with white robes, and whence did they come? And I said to him, My Lord, you know. And he said to me, These are those who come out from great affliction, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple, and he that sits on the throne will dwell among them. And they shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more, neither shall the sun strike them nor any heat, for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne shall feed them and lead them to fountains of the waters of life, and God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes.

And there was given him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemy, and power was given him to continue forty-two months [three years and a half]. And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against God, to blaspheme his name and his tabernacle and those that dwell in heaven. And it was given him to make war with the saints and to conquer them, and power was given him over every tribe and people and tongue and nation.
