Behold, I come shortly." Happy is he that keepeth the saying of the prophecy of this book. I am John, which saw these things and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down, to worship before the feet of the angel which showed me these things.
I was in the spirit on a Sunday, and heard behind me a great voice, as it had been of a trumpet, saying, "I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last. That thou seest, write in a book and send it unto the congregations which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamum, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea."
And when I saw him, I fell at his feet, even as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, "Fear not. I am the first and the last, and am alive, and was dead. And behold I am alive for evermore, and have the keys of hell and of death.
