10 Bible Verses about Languages Confused

Come, let us go down, and there confuse their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.

So the LORD scattered them abroad from there upon the face of all the earth: and they left off building the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confuse the language of all the earth: and from there did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

By these were the coastlands of the nations divided in their lands; everyone after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.

There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without meaning.

For he sent letters into all the king's provinces, into every province according to the writing thereof, and to every people after their language, that every man should bear rule in his own house, and that it should be published according to the language of every people.

Then a herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages,

Then king Darius wrote unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you.

Now when this was sounded abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because every man heard them speak in his own language.

Destroy, O Lord, and confuse their tongues: for I have seen violence and strife in the city.

If therefore the whole church be come together into one place, and all speak with tongues, and there come in those that are unlearned, or unbelievers, will they not say that you are mad?
