And thou shall take all the fat that covers the inwards, and the caul upon the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and burn them upon the altar.

For the king of Babylon stood at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination. He shook the arrows to and fro. He consulted the teraphim. He looked in the liver.

And all the fat of the bullock of the sin-offering he shall take off from it. The fat that covers the innards, and all the fat that is upon the innards, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, which is by the loins, and the caul upon the liver, with the kidneys, he shall take away, as it is taken off from the ox of the sacrifice of peace-offerings. And the priest shall burn them upon the altar of burnt-offering.

And he shall offer from it all the fat of it. So Aaron drew near to the altar, and killed the calf of the sin-offering, which was for himself. And the sons of Aaron presented the blood to him, and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the base of the altar, but he burnt the fat, and the kidneys, and the caul from the liver of the sin-offering, upon the altar, as LORD commanded Moses.
