but thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he lacks.

And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, who had spent all her living upon physicians but could not be healed by any, came behind him and touched the border of his garment, and immediately her issue of blood stopped. And Jesus said, Someone has touched me, for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me. For the Christ, when we were yet weak, in his time died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die, yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God increased the price of his charity toward us in that while we were yet sinners the Christ died for us.

Honour widows that are widows indeed. But if any widow has children or grandchildren, let those learn first to govern their house in piety and to recompense their parents, for this is honest and pleasing before God.
