Provide for yourselves neither gold, nor silver, nor brass, to put into your purses, nor bag for your journey, nor two coats, nor sandals, nor staffs: for the laborer is worthy of his support.

And he said to them: Take nothing for your journey, neither staff, nor bag, nor bread, nor money; nor have two coats each.

Carry no purse, nor bag, nor sandals; and salute no one on the road.

And he commanded them to take nothing for their journey, but a staff only; no bag, no bread, no money in their purses;

And he said to them: When I sent you without purse and bag and sandals, did you need any thing? They replied: Nothing.
