I, Daniel, alone saw the vision; for the men who were with me did not see the vision; but a great trembling fell on them, and they fled to hide themselves.
The men who traveled with him stood speechless, hearing the sound, but seeing no one.
But as it is written, No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has imagined the things which God has prepared for those who love him.
For truly I tell you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see the things which you see, and did not see them; and to hear the things which you hear, and did not hear them.
