Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene came to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw the stone [already] removed from the [groove across the entrance of the] tomb.
And they were saying to one another, “Who will roll back the stone for us from the entrance of the tomb?” Looking up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away, though it was extremely large.
The tombs were opened, and many bodies of the saints (God’s people) who had fallen asleep [in death] were raised [to life];
