And he opened the pit of the abyss; and there went up a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.

Jesus saith, "Take ye away the stone." The sister of the deceased, Martha, says to Him, "Lord, already he is decaying; for he has been dead four days." Jesus saith to her, "Did I not say to you that, if you would believe, you should see the glory of God?" So they took away the stone. And Jesus lifted up His eyes, and said, "Father, I thank Thee, because Thou didst hear Me.

Now on the first day of the sabbaths Mary Magdelene comes early in the morning while it was yet dark to the tomb, and sees the stone taken out of the tomb.

And they were saying among themselves, "Who will roll away the stone for us out of the door of the tomb?" And, looking up, they see that the stone has been rolled back; for it was exceedingly great.

And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb;

and the tombs were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised;
