Yet which of them has ever stood in the Lord's inner circle so they could see and hear what he has to say? Which of them have ever paid attention or listened to what he has said?
The one who belongs to God listens and responds to God's words. You don't listen and respond, because you don't belong to God."
Maybe they will pay attention and each of them will stop living the evil way they do. If they do that, then I will forgo destroying them as I had intended to do because of the wicked things they have been doing.
If they obey and serve him, they live out their days in prosperity and their years in pleasantness.
