for I also am a man placed under authority, having soldiers under me, and I say to one, Go, and he goes, and to another, Come, and he comes; and to my servant, Do this, and he does it.

But Paul choosing Silas went out, commended to the favor of the Lord by the brothers.
And sending two that served him into Macedonia, Timothy and Erastus, he continued a time in Asia.
For this reason I sent you Timothy, who is my beloved and faithful son in the Lord, who will remind you of my ways in Christ, as I teach everywhere, in every church.
and perhaps remain and spend the winter, that you may send me forward wherever I go.
let no one therefore despise him. But send him forward in peace, that he may come to me; for I look for him with the brothers.
and to pass by you into Macedonia, and to come again from Macedonia to you, and by you to be sent forward to Judea.
And we have sent with them our brother, whom we have often proved in many services to be diligent, and who is now much more diligent from the great confidence in you.
But I sent the brothers, that our boasting of you may not be in vain in this respect, as I said you were prepared,
