And Jesus, going out, was departing from the temple; and His disciples came near to show Him the buildings of the temple. But, He, answering, said to them, "See ye not all these things? verily I say to you, there shall in no wise be left here a stone upon a stone, that shall not be thrown down." And, while He was sitting on the mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, "Tell us when shall these things be, and what is the sign of Thy coming and of the end of the age." read more.

And ye will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that ye be not troubled, for these things must come to pass; but the end is not yet. For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places.

And, as He was going out of the temple, one of His disciples says to Him, "Teacher, behold, what manner of stones and what manner of buildings!" And Jesus said to him, "Do you see these great buildings? There shall not be left here a stone upon a stone, which shall not be thrown down." And, as some were speaking about the temple, "With what beautiful stones and offerings it has been adorned," He said, "As to these things which ye are looking upon, the days will come, in which there will not be left here a stone upon a stone, which will not be thrown down." And they asked Him, saying, "Teacher, when, therefore, will these things be, and what is the sign, when all these things are about to come to pass?" read more.
And He said, "Take heed that ye be not led astray; for many will come in My name, saying, 'I am He,' and, 'The season has drawn near!' Go not after them. And, when ye hear of wars and tumults, be not terrified; for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not straight-way." Then He said to them, "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be great earthquakes, and, in various places, famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.
