Nevertheless, all who devoured you will be devoured,
and all your adversaries—all of them—
will go off into exile.
Those who plunder you will be plundered,
and all who raid you will be raided.
But this is a people plundered and looted,
all of them trapped in holes
or imprisoned in dungeons.
They have become plunder
with no one to rescue them
and loot, with no one saying, “Give it back!”
“This is blood!” they exclaimed. “The kings have clashed swords and killed each other. So, to the spoil, Moab!”
“Plunder the silver! Plunder the gold!”
