And he said to them, Why are you afraid, men of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the lake, and there was a great calm. And the men wondered, saying, What kind of a man is this, that the winds and the lake obey him?

And on that day, when it was evening, he said to them, Let us cross over to the other side. And dismissing the multitude, they took him as he was in the ship; and other ships also were with him. And there was a great tempest of wind, and the waves beat over the ship, so that the ship was already filled.read more.
And he was in the stern, on the pillow, asleep. And they awoke him and said to him, Teacher, do you not care that we perish? And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said to the lake, Hush! Be still! And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And he said to them, Why are you so fearful? How have you no faith? And they were greatly afraid, and said one to another, What man is this, that even the wind and the lake obey him?

And he said to them, Where is your faith? And they were afraid, and wondered, saying one to another, What man then is this, that he commands the winds and the water and they obey him?

Are not two sparrows sold for an assarion [1.5 mills]? and one of them cannot fall to the ground without your Father. Even the hairs of your head are all numbered.

and he made of one blood every nation of men to live on all the face of the earth, determining their appointed times and the bounds of their habitation,

You will say to me then, Why then does he yet find fault? for who has resisted his will? Yes indeed, O man, who are you that reply against God? Shall the work say to him that made it, Why did you make me thus? or has not the potter a right, in respect to the clay, to make of the same mass one vessel to honor and another to dishonor?

Concerning which salvation the prophets also who prophesied concerning the grace [bestowed] on us inquired diligently and sought, inquiring as to what person or what time the Spirit of Christ which was in them signified, when it declared before the sufferings of Christ and after these the glories, to whom it was revealed that they ministered not to themselves but to us those things which have now been declared to you by those who preached to you the good news, with the Holy Spirit sent from heaven, into which the angels desire to look.

And I will show prodigies in heaven above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and a cloud of smoke.read more.
The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before the great and illustrious day of the Lord comes. And whoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
