[He did this so] that He might reconcile both to God in one body through the cross and put the hostility to death by it.
Now everything is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that is, in Christ, God was reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed the message of reconciliation to us.
For He is our peace, who made both groups one and tore down the dividing wall of hostility. In His flesh, He did away with the law of the commandments in regulations, so that He might create in Himself one new man from the two, resulting in peace. [He did this so] that He might reconcile both to God in one body through the cross and put the hostility to death by it.
Therefore, since we have been declared righteous by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, [then how] much more, having been reconciled, will we be saved by His life!
and through Him to reconcile everything to Himself by making peace through the blood of His cross- whether things on earth or things in heaven.
