"Now, Master, you will let your slave go free In peace, as you promised, For my eyes have seen your salvation

If I am guilty and have done anything that deserves death, I do not refuse to die; but if there is no truth in the charges that these men make against me, no one can give me up to them; I appeal to the emperor."

Peter said to him, "Even if I have to die with you, I will never disown you!" All the disciples said so too.
