And when the seven thunders had sounded, I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven saying, "Seal up what the seven thunders have said, and do not write it down."

I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals.

Then he closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant, and sat down; and the eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on him.

And he said to me, "Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near.
