And when he finds it, with joy he puts it on his shoulders, and when he reaches home he calls in his friends and neighbors, and says to them, 'Rejoice with me, because I have found my lost sheep!' Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinful person who repents than over ninety-nine upright people who do not need any repentance. "Or what woman, if she has ten silver coins and loses one of them, does not light a lamp and sweep the house, and look carefully until she finds it? And when she finds it, she calls in her friends and neighbors, and says, 'Rejoice with me, because I have found the coin which I lost!' Just so, I tell you, there is joy among the angels of God over one sinful person who repents!"

Then Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this home, for he too is a real descendant of Abraham. For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save the people that are lost."

and He who searches our hearts knows what the Spirit thinks, for He pleads for His people in accordance with God's will.

and I will surely strike her children dead. So all the churches will know that I am He who searches men's inmost hearts, and that I will repay each of you for exactly what you have done.
