John 10:1-16

Truly, truly do I say to you, He that entereth not through the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber; but he that entereth through the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice; and his own sheep he calleth by name, and leadeth them out.read more.
When he hath put forth all his own, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him, because they know his voice. But a stranger they will not follow, but will flee from him; because they know not the voice of strangers. This parable Jesus spoke to them; but they did not understand what the things were which he spoke to them. Jesus therefore said, Truly, truly do I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All those who came are thieves and robbers; but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door; if any one enter through me, he will be saved, and will go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy; I came that they might have life, and have abundance. I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. He that is a hireling and not a shepherd, nor the owner of the sheep, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth; and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep; because he is a hireling, and careth not for the sheep. I am the good shepherd, and I know my sheep, and they know me, even as the Father knoweth me, and I know the Father; and I give my life for the sheep. And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold; them also I must bring; and they will hear my voice, and there will be one flock, one shepherd.

Galatians 4:21-31

Tell me, ye that desire to be under the Law, do ye not hear the Law? For it is written, that Abraham had two sons; the one by the bondwoman, the other by the freewoman. But the one by the bondwoman was born after the flesh; while the one by the freewoman was through the promise.read more.
Which things are written allegorically; for these women are two covenants; the one from Mount Sinai, who beareth children into bondage, which is Hagar; for the word Hagar is Mount Sinai in Arabia; and she corresponds to the Jerusalem now existing, for she is in bondage with her children; but the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother. For it is written: "Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not; for many are the children of the desolate one, rather than of her who hath the husband." But ye, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of a promise. But as at that time he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born through the Spirit, so it is now. But what saith the scripture? "Cast out the bondwoman and her son; for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman." So then, brethren, we are not children of a bondwoman, but of the freewoman.

Romans 11:15-24

For if the rejection of them is the reconciliation of the world, what will the reception of them be, but life from the dead? And if the first portion of the dough is holy, so also will be the lump; and if the root is holy, so will be the branches. And if some of the branches have been broken off, and thou, a wild olive, hast been grafted in among them, and become a partaker with them of the root and fatness of the olivetree,read more.
boast not over the branches; for if thou boast, thou dost not bear the root, but the root thee. Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in. Be it so. It was for their unbelief that they were broken off, and thou standest through thy faith; be not highminded, but fear. For if God spared the natural branches, take care lest he spare not thee. Behold then the goodness and the severity of God; toward those who fell, severity; but toward thee Gods goodness, if thou continue in his goodness; otherwise thou also wilt be cut off. And they also, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in; for God is able to graft them in again. For if thou hast been cut off from an olivetree wild by nature, and hast against thy nature been ingrafted into a good olivetree, how much more shall these, the natural branches, be ingrafted into their own olivestock?

Ephesians 5:22-33

Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands, as to the Lord; for the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church,he, who is the Saviour of the body. But as the church is subject to Christ, so let wives be to their husbands in everything.read more.
Husbands, love your wives, as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it, that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the bath of the water in the word; that he himself might present to himself the church, glorious, having no spot or wrinkle, or any such thing, but that it should be holy and without blemish. In like manner husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his own wife loveth himself; for no one ever yet hated his own flesh, but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as Christ doth the church; for we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. "For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife, and they two shall be one flesh." This mystery is a great one; but I am speaking of Christ and of the church. However, do ye also severally love each one his own wife as himself; and let the wife see that she reverence her husband.

Ephesians 6:11-17

Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the Devil; for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the worldrulers of this darkness, against the spiritual hosts of evil in the heavenly regions. Wherefore take up the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.read more.
Stand therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; taking up, in addition to all, the shield of faith, by which ye will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the Evil One; and receive the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;
