John 10:1-16

"Verily, verily, I say to you, he that enters not through the door into the fold of the sheep, but climbs up some other way, he is a thief and a robber. But he that enters through the door is shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out.read more.
When he drives out all his own, he goes on before them, and the sheep follow him; because they know his voice. But a stranger they will in no wise follow, but will flee from him; because they know not the voice of strangers." This parable spake Jesus to them; but they understood not what things they were which He spake to them. Jesus, therefore, said to them again, "Verily, verily, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who came before Me are thieves and robbers; but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door; through Me if any one enter, he shall be saved, and shall go in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes not, but that he may steal, and kill, and destroy: I came, that they may have life, and that they may have it abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his soul for the sheep. The hireling, who also is not a shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, beholds the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep, and flees (and the wolf seizes them, and scatters them); because he is a hireling, and cares not for the sheep. I am the Good Shepherd; and I know My own, and My own know Me, even as the Father knoweth Me, and I know the Father; and I lay down My soul for the sheep. And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and they shall become one flock, one Shepherd.

Galatians 4:21-31

Tell me, ye who are wishing to be under law, do ye not hear the law? For it has been written that Abraham had two sons, one by the bond-woman, and one by the free-woman. But the one by the bond-woman has been born after the flesh; and the one by the free-woman, through promise.read more.
Which things are an allegory; for these women are two covenants; one, indeed, from mount Sinai, bringing forth into servitude, which is Hagar (for the word Hagar is mount Sinai in Arabia), and corresponds to the present Jerusalem; for she is in bondage with her children. But the Jerusalem which is above is free, which, indeed, is our mother; for it has been written, "Rejoice, O barren, that bear not! Break forth and cry, you that travail not! because many are the children of the desolate, rather than of her who has the husband." But ye, brethren, after the manner of Isaac, are children of promise. But, just as then, the one born after the flesh kept persecuting him born after the Spirit, so also is it now. But what says the Scripture? "Cast out the bond-woman and her son; for the son of the bond-woman shall in nowise inherit with the son of the free-woman." Wherefore, brethren, we are not children of a bond-woman, but of the free-woman.

Romans 11:15-24

For, if the casting away of them is the reconciling of the world, what will the receiving of them be, but life from the dead? And, if the first-fruit is holy, so also is the lump; and, if the root is holy, so also are the branches. And, if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive, were grafted in among them, and became a joint-partaker of the root and of the fatness of the Olive tree;read more.
boast not against the branches. But, if you boast, it is not you that bear the root; but the root, you. You will say, then, "The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in." Well; by their unbelief they were broken off, but you have been standing by faith. Do not cherish lofty thoughts; but fear. For, if God spared not the natural branches, neither will He spare you. Behold, then, God's kindness and severity; toward those who fell, severity; but toward you, God's kindness, if you continue in His kindness; otherwise, you also shall be cut off. And they also, if they continue not in unbelief, shall be grafted in; for God is able to graft them in again. For, if you were cut out of that which is by nature a wild olive tree, and were grafted, contrary to nature, into a good olive tree; how much more shall these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?

Ephesians 5:22-33

the wives, to their own husbands, as to the Lord; because a husband is head of the wife, as Christ also is Head of the assembly; Himself the Savior of the body. But, as the assembly is subject to Christ, so also let the women be to their husbands in everything.read more.
Husbands, love your wives, as Christ also loved the assembly, and delivered Himself up for it, that He might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of the water in the word, that He might present to Himself the assembly, glorious, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing, but that it may be holy and without blemish. So ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself; for no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, as also Christ the assembly; because we are members of His body. For this cause, will a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife, and the two shall be one flesh. This mystery is great; but I am speaking of Christ and of the assembly. Nevertheless, do ye also, severally, each one, so love his own wife, as himself; and let the wife see that she fear her husband.

Ephesians 6:11-17

Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the Devil; because to us the struggle is not against blood and flesh, but against the principalities, against the authorities, against the world-rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. On this account, take up the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day; and, having fully accomplished all, to stand.read more.
Stand, therefore, having girded your loins about with truth, and having put on the breast-plate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of peace; withal having taken up the shield of faith, with which ye will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And receive the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
