Jesus immediately discerned in his spirit that they reasoned within themselves. He asked them: Why reason these things in your hearts?

Peter opened his mouth, and said, I truly perceive that God shows no partiality.

Who do you say that I am? Simon Peter answered: You are the Christ, the Son of the living God! Jesus answered him: Bless you, Simon son of John. This knowledge came from my Father in heaven and not from man.
