Think not that I am come to undo the law or the prophets; I am not come to undo, but to fulfil.

And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded this unto them in all the scriptures concerning himself.

For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me, for he wrote of me. But if ye do not believe his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

And he said unto them, These are the words which I spoke unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the law of Moses and in the prophets and in the psalms, concerning me.

Search the scriptures, for in them ye think ye have eternal life; and they are those who testify of me. And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister and sat down. And the eyes of all those that were in the synagogue were fastened on him. And he began to say unto them, Today this scripture is fulfilled in your ears.

But all this was done that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him and fled.
