Now these are the last words of David. David, the son of Jesse, said, and the man who was raised up high, the anointed of the God of Jacob, and the sweet cantor of Israel, said, (The Spirit of the LORD has spoken by me, and his word has been in my tongue.
Yet many years didst thou forbear them and didst protest against them with thy spirit by the hand of thy prophets; yet they did not hear; therefore, thou didst give them into the hand of the peoples of the land.
Afterwards the Spirit took me up and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God into the land of the Chaldeans to the captives. So the vision that I had seen went up from me. Then I spoke unto the captives all the words of the LORD that he had showed me.
But truly I am full of power by the Spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his rebellion, and to Israel his sin.
Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone lest they should hear the law and the words which the LORD of the hosts has sent by his Spirit by the hand of the former prophets; therefore came great wrath from the LORD of the hosts.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,
understanding this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy did not come in times past by the will of man, but the holy men of God spoke being inspired by the Holy Spirit.
For David himself said by the Holy Spirit, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Spirit by the mouth of David spoke before concerning Judas, who was guide to those that took Jesus.
And when they did not agree among themselves, they departed, after Paul had spoken this word, Well spoke the Holy Spirit by Isaiah the prophet unto our fathers, saying, Go unto this people, and say, Hearing ye shall hear and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see and not perceive; for the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and should be converted and I should heal them.
Therefore, as the Holy Spirit saith, Today if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: Where your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.read more.
Therefore, I was indignant with that generation and said, They do always err from their heart, and they have not known my ways. So I swore in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.
Likewise the Holy Spirit gives us the same witness, who afterwards said, This is the testament that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will give my laws in their hearts, and in their souls will I write them; and their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
searching when and in what point of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, which announced beforehand the afflictions that were to come upon the Christ, and the glory that should follow them.
by which, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of the Christ), which in other generations was not made known unto the sons of men as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit,
He that has an ear let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the congregations ; To him that overcomes I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God. And unto the angel of the congregation of Smyrna write: These things, saith the first and the last, who was dead, and is alive: I know thy works and tribulation and poverty, (but thou art rich), and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.read more.
Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer; behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days; be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee the crown of life. He that has an ear let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the congregations ; He that overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death.

And to the angel of the congregation in Philadelphia write; These things, saith he that is Holy and True, he who has the key of David, who opens and no one shuts and shuts, and no one opens; I know thy works; behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no one can shut it, for thou hast a little strength and hast kept my word and hast not denied my name.read more.
Behold, I give of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but do lie; behold, I will constrain them to come and worship before thy feet and to know that I have loved thee. Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the entire world, to try those that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly; hold fast that which thou hast, that no one take thy crown. He that overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go out no more, and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God which is the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from and with my God, and I will write upon him my new name.
Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God, that we might know the things that God has given us. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teaches, but with doctrine of the Holy Spirit, jointly fitting spiritual things by spiritual means. But the natural man does not perceive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness unto him; neither can he understand them because they are spiritually discerned.read more.
But he that is spiritual discerns all things, yet he is discerned by no one. For who has known the understanding of the Lord? Who has instructed him? But we have the understanding of Christ.
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all the things that I have said unto you.
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth, for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak, and he will cause you to know the things which are to come. He shall clarify me, for he shall take of that which is mine and shall cause you to know it. All that the Father has is mine; therefore I said that he shall take of that which is mine and shall cause you to know it.
(And thus their senses became hardened, for until this day remains the same veil not uncovered in the reading of the old testament, which veil is taken away in Christ. But even unto this day when Moses is read, the veil is upon their heart. Nevertheless when they convert to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away.)read more.
For the Lord is the Spirit, and where that Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
The Holy Spirit signifying in this, that the way into the sanctuary was not yet made manifest, as long as the first tabernacle was yet standing:
But ye have the anointing of the Holy One, and ye know all things. I have not written unto you as if ye ignore the truth, but as unto those that know it, and that no lie is of the truth. Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? This same is antichrist, who denies the Father and the Son.read more.
Whosoever denies the Son, the same does not have the Father. Whosoever confesses the Son, has the Father also. Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. For if that which ye have heard from the beginning shall abide in you, ye also shall continue to abide in the Son and in the Father. And this is the promise that he has promised us, even eternal life. These things I have written unto you concerning those that seduce you. But the anointing which ye have received of him abides in you, and ye do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you of all things and is truth, and is no lie; and even as it has taught you, abide ye in him.
By the word of the LORD were the heavens made, and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
And this shall be my covenant with them, said the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words, which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the LORD, from now on and for ever.
For he whom God has sent speaks the words of God; for God does not give the Spirit by measure unto him.
The Spirit is he that gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken unto you, they are Spirit and they are life.
And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;
but he is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit and not in the letter, whose praise is not of men, but of God.
But now we are free from the law of death in which we were held, that we might serve in newness of Spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
who also has made us able ministers of the new testament, not of the letter, but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
This only would I learn of you, Did ye receive the Spirit by the works of the law or by the obedient ear of faith? Are ye so foolish? having begun by the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh? Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.read more.
He therefore that gives unto you the Spirit and does works of power among you, does he do it by the works of the law or by the obedient ear of faith?
that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
Ye are empty of the Christ, whosoever of you that justify yourselves by the law; ye are fallen from grace. For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
