At last came two false witnesses, And said, This fellow said, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days.

saying, We heard him say, I will destroy this temple made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.

Jesus answered and said to them, Destroy this temple, and I will raise it up in three days. Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou raise it up in three days? But he spake of the temple of his body. When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this;

Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son God, come down from the cross.
