(12:18) and he stood upon the sand of the sea. (13:1) And I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns ten diadems, and upon his heads names of blasphemy. And the beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet as of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion; and the dragon gave him his power, and his throne, and great authority; and I saw one of his heads, as if smitten to death. And his death-stroke was healed; and all the earth wondered after the beast.read more.
And they worshiped the dragon, because he gave his authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast, and who is able to make war with him?" And there was given to him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and authority was given him to work forty-two months. And he opened his mouth for blasphemies against God, to blaspheme His name, and His Tabernacle, even those dwelling in Heaven. And it was given him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them; and there was given him authority over every tribe, and people, and tongue, and nation. And all who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the founding of a world. If anyone has an ear, let him hear. If anyone is for captivity, into captivity he goes; if anyone shall kill with a sword, with a sword he must be killed. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

him whose coming is according to the working of Satan in all power and signs and lying wonders, and in all deceit of unrighteousness to those who perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet that wrought the signs in his presence, with which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast, and who worshiped his image. The two were cast alive into the lake of fire that burns with brimstone.

And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he was speaking as a dragon. And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his sight. And he makes the earth and those dwelling therein, to worship the first beast, whose death-stroke was healed.

The beast which you saw was, and is not, and is about to come up out of the abyss, and to go into perdition. And those who dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names have not been written in the book of life from the founding of the world, when they behold the beast, that he was, and is not, and shall come. Here is the mind that has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sits.

And he says to me, "The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

And it was given him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them; and there was given him authority over every tribe, and people, and tongue, and nation.

And I saw Heaven opened; and, behold, a white horse, and He Who sat on him, called Faithful and True; and in righteousness doth He judge and make war. And His eyes are as a flame of fire; and on His head are many diadems; having a name written which no one knows but Himself; and He is clothed with a garment sprinkled with blood; and His name is called "THE WORD OF GOD."read more.
And the armies in Heaven were following Him on white horses, clothed in fine linen, white, pure. And out of His mouth proceeds a sharp sword, that with it He may smite the nations, and He will govern them with a rod of iron; and He treadeth the wine-press of the fierceness of the wrath of God, the Almighty. And He hath on His garment, and on His thigh, a name written, "KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS."
