11 Bible Verses about Thoughtfulness

Be keenly aware that just as a parent disciplines his child, the Lord your God disciplines you.

Remember the ancient days; bear in mind the years of past generations. Ask your father and he will inform you, your elders, and they will tell you.

I wish that they were wise and could understand this, and that they could comprehend what will happen to them."

However, fear the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart. Just look at the great things he has done for you!

"Pay attention to this, Job! Stand still and consider the wonders God works.

When I look up at the heavens, which your fingers made, and see the moon and the stars, which you set in place, Of what importance is the human race, that you should notice them? Of what importance is mankind, that you should pay attention to them,

Here then is what the Lord who rules over all says: 'Think carefully about what you are doing. You have planted much, but have harvested little. You eat, but are never filled. You drink, but are still thirsty. You put on clothes, but are not warm. Those who earn wages end up with holes in their money bags.'"

Why do you worry about clothing? Think about how the flowers of the field grow; they do not work or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his glory was clothed like one of these!

Do not be conformed to this present world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may test and approve what is the will of God -- what is good and well-pleasing and perfect.

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of respect, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if something is excellent or praiseworthy, think about these things.

Think of him who endured such opposition against himself by sinners, so that you may not grow weary in your souls and give up.
