And he said to them, Wherever ye enter a house, there abide fill ye leave that place.

And as they journeyed through the cities, they delivered to them for their observance the decrees which had been ordained by the apostles and elders that were at Jerusalem.

saying, There was in a certain city a judge, who feared not God, nor regarded man. And there was a widow in that city; and she kept coming to him, saying, Avenge me of my adversary!

And all went to be registered, each to his own city. And Joseph also went up from Galilee out of the city of Nazareth into Judaea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David,

And having come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and the miracles?

And he came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and was teaching them on the sabbath.

And it came to pass afterward, that he journeyed through cities and villages, preaching and publishing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God; and the twelve were with him,

He cometh therefore to a city of Samaria, called Sychar, near the piece of land which Jacob gave to his son Joseph.

Therefore, behold, I send to you prophets, and wise men, and scribes; some of them ye will kill and crucify, and some of them ye will scourge in your synagogues, and persecute from city to city;

And into whatever city or town ye enter, inquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye leave the place.
