And Jesus said to them, Truly do I say to you, that, in the renovation when the Son of man sitteth on the throne of his glory, ye who have followed me shall also yourselves sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

And he called to him his twelve disciples, and gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal every sickness and every disease. And they prayed saying, Thou, Lord, who knowest the hearts of all men, show which of these two thou hast chosen to take the part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell away, that he might go to his own place. And they cast lots for them; and the lot fell upon Matthias, and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.

And there was Anna, a prophetess, daughter of Phanuel: of the tribe of Asher; she was of great age, and had lived with a husband seven years from her virginity; and she was a widow eightyfour years old, who never left the temple, worshipping with fastings and prayers night and day. And she came up at this very time, and gave thanks to God, and spoke of him to all that were looking for the redemption of Jerusalem.
