And they cast lots for them; and the lot fell upon Matthias, and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.

And there was Anna, a prophetess, daughter of Phanuel: of the tribe of Asher; she was of great age, and had lived with a husband seven years from her virginity; and she was a widow eightyfour years old, who never left the temple, worshipping with fastings and prayers night and day. And she came up at this very time, and gave thanks to God, and spoke of him to all that were looking for the redemption of Jerusalem.
