AND I stood upon the sand of the sea, and I saw a beast rising up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon the horns ten diadems, and upon the heads a title of blasphemy. And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his throne, and great authority.

And I saw one of his heads as if wounded unto death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the earth wondered after the beast.

And there was given to him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and there was given to him authority to make war forty-two months. And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven.

Here is the mind that hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, where the woman is seated even upon them. And these are seven kings: five have fallen, and the one exists, the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must abide but a little while. And the beast which was, and is not, though he is himself the eighth, yet is of the seven, and shall go away into perdition.read more.
And the ten horns which thou sawest, are ten kings, who have not yet received their kingdoms; but will receive authority as kings for one hour with the beast. They hold one sentiment, and will give their own power and authority to the beast.

And another angel followed, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because all nations have been made to drink of the wine of the wrath of her whoredom.
