and to wait for His Son from Heaven, Whom He raised from the dead, Jesus, Who delivers us from the coming wrath.

But we do not wish you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those falling asleep, that ye sorrow not even as the rest who have no hope; for, if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, so also those who fell asleep in Jesus will God bring with Him. For this we say to You, in a word of the Lord, that we, the living who remain over to the coming of the Lord, shall in nowise precede those who fell asleep;read more.

Because you kept the word of My patience. I also will keep you from the hour of trial, which is about to come upon the whole inhabited earth, to try those who dwell upon the earth.

"Then will the righteous answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see Thee hungering, and fed Thee? or thirsting, and gave Thee drink? And when did we see Thee a stranger, and took Thee in; or naked, and clothed Thee? And, when did we see Thee sick, or in prison, and came to Thee?' "And, answering, the King will say to them, 'Verily I say to you, inasmuch as ye did it to one of My brethren, even the least, ye did it to Me.' Then will He say also to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, ye accursed! into the eternal fire which was prepared for the Devil and his angels; for I hungered, and ye did not give Me to eat; I thirsted, and ye gave Me no drink; I was a stranger, and ye took Me not in; naked, and ye did not clothe Me; sick, and in prison, and ye did not look after Me.' "Then will they also answer, saying, 'Lord, when did we see Thee hungering, or thirsting, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister to Thee?' "Then will He answer them, saying, 'Verily I say to you, inasmuch as ye did it not to one of these least, ye did it not to Me!' "And these shall go away into age-lasting punishment, but the righteous into age-lasting life."

After these things I saw, and, behold, a great multitude, which no one could number, out of every nation, and of all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne, and before the Lamb, arrayed in white robes, and palms in their hands; and they cry with a great voice, saying, "Salvation to our God, Who sitteth on the throne, and to the Lamb!"

And I have said to him, "My lord, you know." And he said to me, "These are those who come out of the great tribulation; and they washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
