But Peter said, By no means, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing polluted or unclean. And the voice said to him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, do not thou account polluted.

But I said, By no means, Lord: for nothing polluted or unclean hath ever entered into my mouth. And the voice answered me a second time from heaven, What God hath cleansed do not thou call polluted.

But it is happened to them according to the true proverb, The dog is returned to his own vomit, and, The swine that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
