For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with acclamation, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first; then we who are living and remain, shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we for ever be with the Lord.

and to you, who are in trouble, rest with us, at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven,

And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round the throne and the animals and the elders: and the number of them was myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands;

And after these things, I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind might not blow upon the earth, nor upon the sea, nor upon any tree. And I saw another angel which ascended from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,

and I saw the seven angels, that stood before God; and seven trumpets were given to them. And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given to Him much incense, that He might present it with the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar, which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense went up with the prayers of the saints, out of the hand of the angel, before God.

saying to the sixth angel, who had the trumpet, Let loose the four angels, that are bound by the great river Euphrates. And the four angels were let loose; who were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, to kill the third part of men.

And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up: and it was in my mouth sweet as honey, and when I had eaten it my belly was bitter.

And after these things I saw, and behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened. And the seven angels, who had the seven plagues, came out of the temple, clothed in linen pure and bright, and girded about their breasts with girdles of gold.

And I heard a great voice from the temple, saying to the seven angels, Go and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

And there came one of the seven angels, that had the seven vials, and talked with me and said, Come hither, and I will shew thee the judgement of the great harlot, that sitteth upon many waters:

And there came unto me one of the seven angels, who had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and he spake with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife. And he carried me away in spirit to a great and high mountain, and he shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, having the glory of God: and her light was like a most precious stone, even as a Jasper-stone resembling crystal:read more.
