at the dawn of day, Jesus came to them walking on the sea. the disciples seeing him walking on the sea, cry'd out in a fright, an apparition; and they scream'd for fear.

so when they had rowed about five and twenty, or thirty furlongs, seeing Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh to the ship, they were frightned.

Peter answered, Lord, said he, if it be you, bid me come upon the water to you.

Jesus said, come. and Peter getting out of the ship, walk'd on the water to go to Jesus.
