And you shall be brought before governors and kings for My sake, for a testimony against them and the nations.

But take heed to yourselves. For they shall deliver you up to sanhedrins, and in the synagogues you shall be beaten. And you shall be brought before rulers and kings for My sake, for a testimony against them.

But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for My name's sake. And it shall return to you for a testimony.

And I, brothers, when I came to you, did not come with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring to you the testimony of God.

when He shall come to be glorified in His saints and to be admired in all those who believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that Day.

And they said, What need do we have for any witness? For we ourselves have heard it from his own mouth.
