'Appointed' in the Bible

You have freed me from the feuds among the people;You have appointed me the head of nations;a people I had not known serve me.

You will rise up and have compassion on Zion,for it is time to show favor to her—the appointed time has come.

It is like the dew of Hermonfalling on the mountains of Zion.For there the Lord has appointed the blessing—life forevermore.
