'Ascended' in the Bible
When Jehoram ascended to the kingdom of his father, he strengthened himself and murdered all his brothers with the sword, and even some of the princes of Israel.
You have ascended on high; you have led away captives. You have received gifts [from] among humankind, and even [from the] rebellious, so that Yah God may dwell [there].
They ascended [the] mountains [and] drained though the valleys to [the] place that you established for them.
Who has ascended [to] heaven and come down? Who has gathered [the] wind in the hollow of his hand? Who has wrapped water in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What [is] his name and what is the name of his child? For [surely] you know.
And no one has ascended into heaven except the one who descended from heaven--the Son of Man.
Jesus said to her, "Do not touch me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and tell them, 'I am ascending to my Father and your Father, and my God and your God.'"
Now "he ascended," what is [it], except that he also descended to the lower regions of the earth?
The one who descended himself is also the one who ascended above all the heavens, in order that he might fill all [things].
