'Bride' in the Bible

“Lift up your eyes and look around [at the returning exiles];All these gather together and they come to you [to rebuild you].As I live,” declares the Lord,“You [Zion] will indeed clothe yourself with all of them as jewels and tie them on as a bride.

I will rejoice greatly in the Lord,My soul will exult in my God;For He has clothed me with garments of salvation,He has covered me with a robe of righteousness,As a bridegroom puts on a turban,And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

For as a young man marries a virgin [O Jerusalem],So your sons will marry you;And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride,So your God will rejoice over you.
