'Consumeth' in the Bible

The cloud consumeth and vanisheth away; so he that goeth down to Sheol shall not come up.

One who, as a rotten thing consumeth, as a garment that the moth eateth.

For it is a fire that consumeth to destruction, and would root out all mine increase.

Mine eye consumeth by reason of affliction. Upon thee, Jehovah, have I called every day; I have stretched out my hands unto thee.

Behold, it is given to the fire for fuel: the fire consumeth both the ends of it, and the midst of it is burned; is it fit for any work?
